Happy Monday all!
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending the TCF Style Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. The Expo is the creation of Marie Denee from The Curvy Fashionista. Marie is one of the pioneers of plus size blogging and is a major presence in our community. Her annual expo provides a space for plus size women to feel confident and celebrate their bodies. Due to the popularity of last years inaugural event, the Expo was expanded to two days and was held in a larger venue to accommodate the attendees. The venue hosted a huge shopping bonanza that included major plus size retailers such as Fashion To Figure, Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant along with independent plus designers such as Jibri (my absolute fave!) , Monif C and Maria Paulina for attendees to stop til they dropped! The Expo also had a Beauty Bar which included a pop up nail salon and and make up services by Magnolia Makeup.
For me the Expo is also an opportunity to connect and reconnect with bloggers who I admire and follow through social media. This year I got to hang out the wonderfully stylish Princess from Personal Bravery, the gorgeous Crystal from Sometimes Glam, the amazing Amanda from Fashion, Love and Martinis, the extremely talented Refinery 29 writer Liz Black from P.S. It’s Fashion and the beautiful Shakera from The Real Sample Size. I also got to spend quality time with my boos Jeniese from The Jenesaisquoi and Pepper from Pretty Plus Pep while in Atlanta. It’s never a dull moment when Jeniese, Pepper and I get together. I had such a FUN time hanging with all these women this past weekend. I am so glad I decided to attend the TCF Style Expo and would highly encourage you to go next year!
Have a wonderful day!

You were so beautiful all weekend! Great finally meeting you in person! 😘
I love your hair long ! SO pretty and sophisticated.
Yes queen! You did not come to play! I love BOTH outfits and I can’t pick a favorite. That gorgeous yellow dress is giving me all kinds of Beyoncé’s Lemonade vibes. The second outfit is beautiful as well, giving off a subtle sexiness with the floral sheer blouse and pleated metallic skirt. An unexpected yet sexy pairing.
I’m sure you had a ball. I met you at last year’s event. Thanks for sharing your personal style!
P. S. ~ I didn’t mean to write a book. I got a little long winded there…lol.
