Happy Monday all!
For transitional seasons like Spring, I keep my outerwear choices simple since I only have a limited window to wear them. Honestly, a trench coat and denim jacket are pretty much all I wear during the season. They’re easily interchangeable and go with everything in my closet. On a chilly morning, I layer a sweater underneath to keep me warm. While I endorse the trench and denim jacket, a rain coat is essential especially during those rainy April days. Also a good rain coat can be a great substitution for a trench. This way you’re killing two birds with one stone!

I am jealous of all that snow, and can’t believe you are not wearing some kind of leg coverings in it! lol.
Love the top nautical look!
Looking as fly as you want with all tha snow out there. I have literally beein a hermet with this snow, it’s finally melting. I love that second outfit, so relaxed.
Love the black and white outfit with the classy pop-of-color red shoes. Gorgeous! You have a great sense of color, very creative. Ever thought of a job in graphic design? ; )
I’m loving all the knit blazers that are available now. I’m top heavy and for years, many years, I have not been able to wear a nice blazer. The last time I could wear somewhat of a blazer was back in the 80’s when jackets were big and loose and had quarterback shoulder pads in them!
This is a great tip about coats for spring — I really struggle with outerwear (year round, but that’s another story), so the idea of having two or three basic coats is awesome!
