Happy Hump Day all!
When I found out that the tutu was going to be the next 30+ Style Collaboration, I was like “no way Jose!”. I’ve seen multiple bloggers looking wonderful rocking a tutu but I couldn’t see myself doing it. I’ve accepted there are some trends that are just not for me (me and harem pants will NEVER mix!) and I had put tutus in that category….until now. As we all know, sometimes rising to a challenge helps us to grow as a person. Participating in this collaboration helps me shatter the myth that women over 40 don’t have fun with fashion…yes we do! We like to be on trend just like everyone else! Dont let that “dressing your age” crap stifle you and stop you from looking your absolute best. Remember….STYLE HAS NO AGE OR SIZE!
Check out how the other bloggers in the 30+ Collaboration styled their tutus!

Great outfit! Whenever I think of tutus I think of the short ruffled ones that ballerinas wear. But I suppose there are long drapey ones too. This one looks great on you.
Author
Thank you! I thought the same thing so thats why I went with a tulle skirt. It isnt as poofy as a tutu and was right up my alley!

I like this kind of tutu skirt better that the one Tanesha has. It seems to have more structure and list billowy!
Author
Thank you! It’s a tulle skirt so technically it isn’t a tutu. I just couldn’t do a tutu! LOL

So loving the look and I have been eyeing one for a while..did you customize yours? I love the length on yours and I dont know if thats the standard cause the one by naturally fashionable looks shorter and I know she’s about 5’3
Author
Thank you so much! I did have mine customized for below knee length. I think knee length is standard for this skirt.
