Happy Monday all!
During happy hour last Friday with my BFF I told her I often I feel like I have nothing to wear. She rolled her eyes and gave me the “are you serious?!” look. She said “Getta you have a room full of clothes. How could you not have anything to wear?” While I didn’t have an answer for her, it did get me thinking about my situation. What is the barrier that stops me from fully utilizing the clothes in my closet? In responding to that question, I had to acknowledge that I am a life long procrastinator. For example, I’ll promise to lay out my work outfit the night before but then I’ll procrastinate which leads to me scrambling in the morning. When I scramble I grab whatever is easily available. There have been several mornings where I’ve been late to work because of my mad dash to get dressed. In an effort to combat my procrastination, on Sundays I’ve been selecting outfits for the week. Once I select the outfits, I make them easily accessible in the morning. So far things have been going smoothly. I’ve been able to make my train and get to work on time. I’m not scrambling for 10 minutes picking out an outfit. One of the benefits is that I get to wear long neglected items in my closet like the skirt in this post.
I still struggle with procrastinating (like right now! lol) but I’m proud to say I’ve retired the saying “I don’t have anything to wear!”
Have a wonderful day!

Very nice Outfit. I enjoy that you pick out clothes you like that are your style. What I mean is that they are so perfectly you and what appears to be your personality.
You, my dear, seem to have an endlessly fabulous wardrobe! I love the interesting color combinations and styles that you put together so flawlessly.
Love your outfit.
I love this color combination. Burgundy and teal? Yes, please!
Picking your clothes out in advance is such a help in the mornings. I have picked a weeks worth of clothes out on Sunday evenings since I was in junior high school. It was always our Sunday evening task. Pick out your clothes for M-F, iron and hang them up. It makes life so much easier and one less thing you have to scramble to do. I usually waste my morning minutes trying to pack my lunch
