Happy Monday all!
I want to thank everyone for their encouraging comments on my post “It’s Easy Being Green”. I try to be transparent as possible because this blog has been at times very cathartic for me. I don’t ever want to give off the appearance of being “perfect” or “having it all together” because that is definitely not the case. While I will continue to share some of the lows, I will definitely share the good, like this festive outfit. I first wore this skirt when I went to Cuba in May. Although the skirt gives off Mexican fiesta vibes, it fit in perfectly in Havana. Whenever I wear it I feel like I need to be sitting on a tropical beach with a margarita in my hand. I need to make that fantasy happen ASAP!
Have a wonderful day!

OMG those are the pockets of destiny!
Love the pockets and the pattern. I agree — you need to make that beach plan soon! I bet you can do it too!

Georgette – yours is one of the few plus size blogs I still read and I will as long as you keep it up. The reasons are that you inspire with your wit, style and realness and you are ultimately relatable! We all have our rough patches and we gain strength from those days when we don’t want to get up and get dressed and carry on, but we still do. Thank you for being you!
