During my staycation last weekend Jami and I went on the Mural Mile Walking Tour on Saturday morning. While I was excited to go on the tour the forecast called for below average temps that morning. Eloquii gifted me this wonderful military style double-breasted coat to wear during my staycation. At first I didn’t think I would need the coat because the last few Novembers have been unseasonably warm. Something in my gut told me to get it and I’m glad I did. I wore a sweater and my trusty denim jacket underneath the coat to ward off the chill. I added a scarf because I hate cold air on my neck. The coat and my layers kept me warm and comfy throughout the two hour walking tour. Not once did I feel constricted or bulky with the extra layers under the coat. Since late Fall weather see saws (cold in the AM, warm in the PM) I wear layers that I can peel off as the day goes on. My the time we finished the tour, brunch and did more sightseeing it had warmed up enough for me to take off my denim jacket and scarf. Needless to say this coat is my new favorite and I wear it practically everywhere. If you’re in the market for a coat, I highly recommend this one.
