TGIF all!
Raise your hand if you’re like me and struggle to find a decent pair of jeans. Jeans apparently don’t like my booty so I struggle every year to find a good pair. The last time I found a really good pair of jeans was over 2 years ago so I was about due for another pair. In my search for a new pair of jeans, I came across these high waist pair from Eloquii. Usually I stay clear of high waist jeans because I’m super self conscious about my lower belly. Since I’ve gained weight, my lower belly protrudes more and is very noticeable in pants. I almost didn’t get the jeans because of my pooch but I decided to try them anyway. Of course when I put them on they fit and looked great on me. The jeans have enough stretch that allows me to move around comfortably and they don’t gap in the waist (yay!). Yes my pooch is showing but the fit of the jeans trumped my issues with my lower belly. Now I’m not saying I’ve made peace with my pooch. I strongly believe if you don’t like something about yourself, you should change it so I’ve begun working out to reduce the size of my pooch. But until that happens I’ll continue to wear these high waist jeans, pooch and all!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Bloody gorgeous, Georgette!!!!! I think those are a hella flattering pair of comfy looking jeans, and I LOVE the how the leg line falls in a gorgeous wide leg.

Thank you so much hon! 🙂
That is a real score. They also look soft and comfortable. And don’t beat yourself up about a pooch. Just concentrate on being healthy and happy with lots of energy. And how can you not be happy with those great shoes peeking out below.

Thank you! I can be my own worse critic sometimes but I’m learning not to be so hard on myself.
You look lovely! I am battling some post-baby pooch insecurities at the moment but you’re inspiring me.
