Happy Monday all!
I can’t believe the 4th of July weekend is right around the corner! It only seems like yesterday it was New Years Day and now half the year is done! Usually the holiday weekend is quiet for me because I stay away from overcrowded events. This year I’ve been invited to a couple outings so I want to dress appropriately for the 4th of July weekend. I’m not one for wearing flag t-shirts so I wanted to put something together that was cute and comfortable. Neck scarves are hot right now so added a red bandana around my neck to my gingham skirt and off the shoulder top combo. I liked the 50’s vintage flair the scarf added to my outfit so much I channeled my inner Rizzo from “Grease” and busted out a quick hand jive (LOL)!
Have a wonderful day!
P.S. I took my braids out because I’m letting my hair breathe until I get it re-braided this weekend. While I love my natural hair I miss the convenience of the braids.

Such a cute outfit! I’ve got a navy shirt, white shorts and red sneakers on the outfit agenda for the 4th. Nothing as spectacular as what you’re wearing, but a big step up from the $5 Old Navy Flag Tees that I used to wear, lol.
Love this look Ms. G! Especially that off the shoulder top – gotta get me one! I hear you on the convenience of braids – tryna find someone to do mine right now. Have a great holiday!
Awesome dress for summer … Happy 4th!
Great look! Very summer-y.
You do skirts so well! This looks like a perfect summer outfit. Well done!

Oh my gosh, you are so adorable in that outfit. Love the red bandana with the red shoes. You just look so pulled together. It seems like there’s always at least one thing I’ve left out to pull an outfit together, Love you in the shorter hair also.
