TGIF all!
I’ve never been the kind of person who dresses up for Easter. I prefer to keep things simple and focus on what the day truly means. After Easter service my friend and I are heading to brunch so I definitely to wear a cute but casual outfit. I love to mix patterns and while it scares most people, it can be done in a way that works. Pairing a smaller print with a larger one in the same color family is the best way (in my opinion) to mix patterns successfully. Try mixing a smaller stripe with larger block stripe print to slowly ease yourself into it. With a little practice, you’ll be a print mixing dynamo in no time!
Have a wonderful Easter!

Perfection! And the fact that you chose neutral colors (navy and white) to do the pattern mixing with makes the colors in your skirt really take center stage. But yet the lime green and pink are not overwhelming. Yours is one of the nicest mixes of patterns that I’ve seen. Sometimes people try to print mix too many colors and it just appears “cluttered” to my mind. This looks fantastic!
I am INSPIRED! Thank you!!
I’m inspired too! I love this outfit!
