Happy Monday all!
During the Winter I’m always trying to finds ways to layer without turning into the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man. A couple of Summers ago I layered a dress over a pair of jeans as apart of a style challenge so I thought I give it a whirl again. After going through my closet, I picked an old striped dress that I had stopped wearing it because it comes above my knees. While the length of the dress didn’t work for me bare legged, it was perfect for layering over a turtleneck and straight leg pants. Once I put everything on, I didn’t feel bulky or constricted. This layering trick will keep you warm and stylish during the frigid months. It’s also a great way to incorporate your favorite Spring dresses into your Winter wardrobe.
What are some of your layering tricks during the Winter?
Have a wonderful day!

Very pretty dress and great layering. I wore a slightly too short sweater dress today over black pants and a sleeveless turtle neck. I love the dress over pants look!
I just can’t get over how you can wear any color there is and it looks fabulous! Is there a color that doesn’t work for you?
I am still a bit rubbish at layering but I am getting better at putting a collared blouse under a sweater. I particularly like clashing the patterns.
