Happy Tuesday all!
We’re back! 30 Plus Style latest collaboration is taking on one of Fall’s staples…plaid. Plaid is one of those prints that can be very polarizing…either you love it or hate it. Personally I like plaid, especially plaid shirts. So I was cool with styling a plaid outfit but when I saw that it had to be $30 or less I was like “oy vey!” Luckily I’ve been blessed with gifted items that helped me with this challenge. To make sure my outfit was less than $30, the jacket I’m wearing in this post was originally priced at $110 but I only paid$23 for it! Now that’s what I call a bargain!
Please check out the lovely ladies of 30 Plus Style and French guest blogger Gaelle from The Curvy and Curly Closet to see how they became “Mad For Plaid”!

I love plaid, or tartan as we call it here in Australia. Lol. I guess that stems back to my punk days. xo

I like calling it tartan too. Sounds much more refined that way! LOL
Plaid was my thing in the 90s. I wore it like everyday. Loving the use of color, especially in fall when I tend to go dark but you kept this look bright. Love!

I never caught on to the plaid thing during the 90s. By the time the grunge look came in, I was too involved in the hip hop look to care! LOL
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
The last time I wore plaid was in the 60s I think. I guess it keeps coming back!
