Happy Monday all!
Sometimes working as a public servant can be a difficult and thankless job. Professions such as teachers often get a lot backlash but no one notices the commitment and pride the vast majority of them have about the work they do. Foxcroft in partnership with L’Appartement Prive Salon treated 20 teachers from P.S. 31 in Brooklyn, NY (a 2009 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence !) to a wonderful make over to show their appreciation for what they do.
“We are thrilled to have the women of P.S. 31 Brooklyn participate in our Style Stars project,” says Tom Dietrich, President of The Apparel Group, the parent company of Foxcroft. “This project reflects our ongoing effort to support teachers for their hard work in educating our children.”
The teachers were treated to hair consultations and styling by celebrity hair stylist Laurent Dufourg and a custom Foxcroft wardrobe.
“It was nice to be pampered and recognized for the work that we do in a totally different way,” LouAnn Gallo, who has taught at P.S. 31 for 15 years, said. “It was a really positive experience.”
When Foxcroft contacted me to see if I would share this story, I was happy to oblige. I’ve collaborated with Foxcroft in the past and can honestly say the quality of their clothing is top-notch. They were kind enough to gift me their camo print blouse and trust me it will be in HEAVY rotation this upcoming Fall and Winter.

Have a wonderful day!
