Beating the Summer Heat

Happy Monday all!

Now that it’s pretty much Summer I decided to put together a colorful outfit for work to usher in the warmer weather.  Dressing for work in the Summer can be a bit tricky with trying to balance staying cool while being appropriate for the job.  Not everyone can (or should) roll up into the office in a tube dress!  It’s about knowing your workplace and what you can  get away with. I know for me sleeveless shirts are my way of being comfortable and appropriate for my job. Since I work in a courthouse, it’s easier for me to slip on a blazer instead of wearing a long sleeve shirt (wearing a long sleeve shirt in the Summer is torture!) . Once the day is over, I take off my blazer and I’m comfortable heading home in the hot Summer evening!
