TGIF all!
A few weeks ago I asked IGIGI if I could review the Linea dress from their Fresh Sophisticate collection. The Linea is a classic maxi in bright colors that I love. Instead of taking pictures of myself wearing the dress, I wanted to show how versatile it can be. Inspired by Assa from My Curves & Curls and her expertly remixed outfits, I decided to show the dress worn two different ways.
Dress: c/o IGIGI
Sandals: Nine West (bought last year)
I made the dress appropriate for my job by adding my pink blazer and a chunky gold necklace. Although I work in courtroom, on Fridays during the Summer I can get away with wearing open toe sandals. I really liked how this turned out! Weather permitting, I plan on wearing this outfit next Friday.
Blazer: Gap (old)
Necklace: NY & Co. (bought during Xmas)
Sandals: Nine West
For a casual look, I wore the dress as a maxi skirt. Since cropped tops are all the rage, I turned my denim shirt into a quasi cropped shirt. I can totally see myself wearing this to a street fair or running weekend errands. I really liked how the dress was transformed into something so functional.
Shirt: JCPenney (bought last Fall)
Sandals: DV by Dolce Vita (sold out)
Bag: Old Navy (bought last Summer)
How do you remix your clothes?
Have a wonderful weekend!
This is a Great Dress on you and I like how you made it work approved by adding the jacket. The casual look is just right for an easy breezy summer day. Kudos!!

Thank you so much! I wanted not only to show the dress but how you can style your maxi dresses at home.
