Casual Friday: See Ya Next Year!

TGIF all!

As Summer comes to a close, I find myself reminiscing about the past three months.   I can honestly say I really enjoyed my Summer this year.  I got work with cool brands like London Times and Lane Bryant, wore a tankini without hiding my bottom and took a much needed vacation.  While I’m a little bummed to see it go, Fall is one of my favorite times of year and I’m looking forward to enjoying it as well.

So I’m sending Summer off  in the best way I know …in a colorful ensemble!

How was your Summer?

Have a great weekend!

I had a busy summer, went to two family reunions and now to settle down and wait for the beauty of fall. Gonna use my new camera to capture it’s beauty.

You are just the bomb is all. Your outfits are so great, and when I’m feeling blue about myself, you remind me that blue is to be paired with a cute skirt or a great pair of well fitting jeans with flats or heels. You are a blessing to many. Thank you.

I just got this very same skirt! I thought, “Grown and Curvy Woman NEEDS to own this skirt because it’s like it was made for her. If she doesn’t already have it, I’m going to recommend it to her.” But, of course, you do already have it. Of course you do, because you know what works best for you.

Anyway, I love it. I’m shorter so it’s quite a bit longer on me, but that works too. I wore it on Dec. 24, totally out of season, just because. I’ll try to show you my post with it when I’ve published it.
