TGIF everyone!
I have a confession to make…I don’t like my left arm. Why? Because its bigger than my right which makes buying long sleeve shirts and blazers difficult. I know this may sound silly but for me it’s something about myself I don’t like. While I dislike my uneven left arm, I’ll still show it love and let it hang out in sleeveless dresses or tops. Basically what I’m trying to say is no matter what you dont like about your body, embrace it. Dont let it stop you from loving yourself or accepting who you are. In light of recent events in this country, life is too short to sweat the small stuff. So be thankful for who you are and rock on!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I love nearly every one of your outfits; you always manage to look so classy and sexy at the same time! I rarely comment because I read from Google Reader and am lazy (sorry!), but I just had to say that I LOVE this dress on you! It fits you like a glove!

Thank you so much hon! I appreciate your support so much! 🙂
I love this post! Especially your humorous angry face:) Thanks for sharing! I am not a fan of my gigantic belly but I try to love it anyways!
Author
That angry face is also my “Im hungry!” face too! LOL
Im glad youre trying to love that part of your body. It isnt easy and I applaud you for it!
I have looked at dozens of photos of you and NEVER noticed any difference. Isn’t that funny? But yes, we ALL have some part. Let us commit to bring kinder to ourselves.
Author
Absolutely! We should commit to being kinder and not harder on ourselves.
That is such a cute dress and I have the same problem with my legs. My right is bigger than my left. That’s why I love maxi dresses, long skirts and slacks. I do wear my arms out, too hot in the summer to be covered up.
Author
Im glad you found a way to accept your leg. Some people wouldve avoided skirts all together!
Embrace your strong arm! 🙂 (my right boob is bigger than the left- talk about hard to buy clothes!)
I love this dress- the way it drapes is so lovely!
Author
Thank you so much hon! Im learning to embrace my left arm. I kissed it today! LOL
I would never have noticed. My left breast is bigger than my right one but whatever. The body is not actually meant to be entirely symetrical. As usual, you look great here.
Author
Thank you! Ive learned to accept my uneven body parts! 😉
Thanks for being so transparent! I had knee replacement surgery a few years ago and at first was ashamed of the long scar but I got over it real quick and wear dresses and skirts whenever I feel like it! This is my first comment but I absolutely adore your blog and thought it was time I said so!!!
Author
Thank you so much! I think its awesome you overcame your shame about your scar. Im glad you didnt allow it to stop you from wearing what you like!
Hi, Georgette,
I love this dress on you! And no, in photos, your two arms look just the same. I guess you can tell when one sleeve is tighter than the other. How is Spring treating you? We had snow up the hill two nights ago and yesterday was bitter cold. I had four layers on (singlet, teeshirt, jumper, another jumper) and it’s not even officially winter yet! (I am LOVING the autumn leaves, though. I’m still not used to that.) What will I do when it REALLY gets cold? lol
Author
Thank you so much! Spring is treating me good so far. Four layers?! I hope Winter isnt too harsh on you!
Haha. i’ve resisted turning on the gas heating just yet as it’s expensive enough even when NOT being used! Plus, I lost my job on Thursday and have to see what tomorrow brings. I am hoping to get it back but won’t really know what is going on until tomorrow afternoon. I’m off out for a walk today – I should probably manage to strip down to about two layers for this one. haha. 🙂
That dress looks awesome on you!!

oooh i do like that dress and with divine silver shoes – you look amazing – i love that you share your feelings with us, we can recognise those feelings too (i have 1 leg longer than the other for example, when my podiatrist told me i laughed, seriously! another flaw which makes me, me – btw my mother completely owned it, she has the same thing!) so, a big yes to us all having a good time embracing our fabulosity (thanks kimora!) x
Author

Thank you! Its important for me to be myself and be open about things that are going on with me.
I too have a part of my body that I’m not in love with. The outrageous BELLY. I have a love/hate relationship with it and I am still trying to get rid of it, but it seems to like where it lives and refuses to depart. So, I have to do Camo. . .Like you we just have to conquer it and thank God for Life!

I was skimming through pintrest and saw this picture of you and thought, “Wow! She looks great in that dress. She must have had it made for her.” Can’t believe you bought it instead of made it! It fits you perfectly!! If I had a dress that looked this good on me, I would wear it EVERYWHERE I go 🙂

I looked for this dress on their website and didn’t see it. Is it still available? LOVE it!
Author
Hi Carla! I called Eshakti and unfortunately the dress is no longer in stock. Sorry! 🙁
You are so right: embrase yourself, life is too short. And you are looking ever so lovely again in this beautiful dress. I love it.
Author
Thank you! Life is definitely too short to sweat the small stuff!
This dress is amazing. You look stunning!
Author
Thank you so much!
LET IT OUT! Loving this post. Life is much too short and too precious to worry about minor body issues, as you’ve said. You have a left arm- it works- give thanks! I don’t like my ultra wide feet, but if I had no feet at all I would surely miss them. GIVE THANKS!
