TGIF all!
I was feeling rather “Foxy Brown”-ish in my black turtle neck, leopard print skirt and faux leather jacket today. I was born in 1972 so I guess I unconsciously channeled my birth era in my outfit! It also gave me the opportunity to wear my early Christmas gift from Tamera (the wonderful woman who takes my blog pictures!). I love my new chunky gold bead necklace! It was the perfect accessory for this outfit. Thank you Tamera!
On a sad note, my heart and prayers go out the the victims and their families in Newtown,CT. This is a horrible tragedy and I pray that God embraces them in this time of indescribable grief.
Jacket: Kohls
Turtleneck: Gap
Skirt: Michael Kors
Necklace: gifted by Tamera
I love your skirt SO MUCH. I know turtlenecks get a bad wrap, but i love them & they go with EVERYTHING.

Thank you! Yes turtlenecks get a bad rap but we gonna change that!
you look amazing. that jacket was cut for you!
Author
Thank you hon! The jacket is probably the best purchase I made this year!
i love turtle necks, they are so chic, the combination is fabulous and i love the necklace especially over the sweater – also sending prayers over the tragic loss of lives, its absolutely devastating x

I love turtlenecks too! I plan on getting my first cashmere turtleneck this Xmas. Cant wait!
You look absolutely fantastic in this outfit. The jacket is especially great on you. You looked wonderful in it in the previous “date night” post and even more fabulous here. This outfit is perfect in terms of “contrast level,” a dressing something I’ve only begun to really understand and accept in the last year. (P.S. Can you do at least one full-length shot in each post? We wanna see the shoes, too!

Thank you so much for your comment! I usually take full length pics but lately those pics have been coming out blurry. Ill make more of an effort to get full length shots! 🙂
argh, poor editing…”a dressing something” should have ended up “a dressing concept” — sorry abuot the muddle.
Love this outfit. It’s very classic looking, but still fun! I love the way turtle necks look, but I just can’t wear them. I get over heated and claustrophobic. A cowl neck is the closest I can get.

Thank you! I agree you can get overheated in a turtleneck. Cowl necks are a great compromise!
You look fabulous in that outfit!
I love turtlenecks but don’t wear them any more as they tend to overemphasize that turkey-neck-jowly thing I have suddenly developed! 🙂
I love the entire out, really is cute…looks good on you. I need to go try some skirts on, I don’t own none..

Thank you! Skirts are a great way to add variety to your wardrobe. There is a skirt for everyone!
Love the leopard!!!

Thank you! 🙂
After seeing how versatile your leather jacket from Kohl’s has been, I saw a similar one yesterday and had to snatch it up as a present to myself. =)
