Happy Monday y’all!
Last week I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Marrakesh, Morocco. Marrakesh had been on the top of my travel bucket list for years. I was supposed to go last January with my friend Nicole but things didn’t pan out. Fortunately we were able to finally make our Marrakesh dream come true a year later.
Jardin Majorelle was the first place I visited once I got to Marrakesh. The botanical garden was created by French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1923. I knew for my first day of sightseeing I wanted to wear a cute but comfortable dress. Lane Bryant’s Lena hi-lo polka dot dress completely fit the bill. Jardin Majorelle was everything I hoped it would be. It was gorgeous, lush and majestic. It was almost as if I were transported to another time and space. Since I arrived right after the garden opened I had parts of the garden to myself before the masses arrived. Spread over two and a half acres I spent the morning leisurely wandering around the garden taking it all in.
My visit to Jardin Majorelle was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I have more sightseeing to share about Marrakesh so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful day!
