TGIF all!
It took me years to finally feel comfortable enough to go sleeveless during the Summer. During those years I would beat myself up for not being super confident or bad ass enough to just do it. What I really should’ve focused on during that time was being comfortable in my decision not to go sleeveless. Being self conscious or not liking how your arms look doesn’t mean you “hate” yourself. It just means you prefer to keep them covered which is fine. There are a variety of reasons that women prefer to keep their arms covered. I’m a firm believer that women should define what body acceptance /love means for themselves. My body acceptance isn’t going to look like yours and that is completely fine. The “right” answer is the one you believe in that makes you feel comfortable about body. At the end of the day, that is all that really matters.
So if you prefer not to go sleeveless, I’ve included some super stylish tops that will look fantastic on you this Summer!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Can you suggest a good company or brand for busty women who would like to wear the off the shoulder or strapless styles? I have a hard time finding good quality strapless bras that will over support for my heavy chest.
I totally agree with your choices and am disappointed at how often plus size stockists offer only sleeveless versions of their lovely clothing. When I was young baring my arms didn’t faze me but good style choices change as we change and this is just common sense not an indication of shame or embarrassment. I love a sleeve!
I wear bare arms all the time. I do carry a sweater or wrap, but I’m not ashamed of my arms.
Thanks for this! 90% of the reason I always cover my arms and legs is that I’m cold. I see people in cute dresses and think, “That looks great on her – isn’t she freezing?!”
