Happy Monday all!
Spring made a brief comeback this past weekend so I took advantage of the warm weather to rock this H&M maxi dress. I was totally feeling myself in this dress! I love when an outfit comes together to create a look that is a bit outside my comfort zone. Usually I stay away from gypsy inspired dresses because it never peaked my interest. Although the whole gypsy look isn’t my thing, I still found myself gravitating towards this dress. The dress was only $19 so I figured why not give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of the dress and how wonderful I felt in it. I liked seeing my “inner gypsy woman” come through (well more like an urban gypsy..lol). Sometimes we can get so complacent with looking one way that we hesitate to try something new. We all do this because the familiar is easy and the unknown is scary. Unfortunately when we do this we stop ourselves from experiencing new things that can lead to growth. I too struggle with complacency but I’m challenging myself to move beyond it to embrace new experiences.
Have a great day!

You look so fabulous that I HAVE to have that dress, then I see is it no longer available. Sigh.
I think your advice to step outside our comfort zone a bit is a wonderful idea, too. We all need to do that now and then.
P.S. If you ever wanna sell that dress…,;oP

That looks fantastic on you! Usually when I see the waist up under the bust like that I run from it but it suits your frame so well. Enjoy the long weekend!
