Casual Friday: ModaMix!

TGIF all!

With plus size fashion booming, more and more brands are vying for our attention. ModaMix is one of the newer brands to enter into the to the plus size fashion pool.   I was first introduced to ModaMix by Sandra from La Pecosa Preciosa and Darlene from Suits,  Heels & Curves during Full Figure Fashion Week. They invited me to an event ModaMix was having to showcase their latest collection. I remember being instantly impressed the with their collection which is available at Macy’s, Hey Gorgeous and Lord & Taylor.

I was also drawn to their description of the “ModaMix Woman”. They describe her ” as “confident, trend setting and wants to take pride in her wardrobe. The brand is catered to ages 25 and beyond and is ageless. She wants to look good and feel good. Modamix allows her to show off her curves by concentrating on quality fabrics and a perfected fit.”   This statement resonated with me because  plus size women  want contemporary clothing that fits all aspects of our lives, no just work.  I especially like that their collection has something for everybody, regardless of age.   As y’all already know I am a huge advocate for age inclusion, so it really makes me happy to see a brand embrace PS women of all ages.

You really work that jacket! I sometimes get bored with the super basics most offer plus sizes.

I’d not heard of ModaMix before now, and after looking through their look book, I can help but wonder their inspiration. In my eyes I see a lot of garments that remind me of Eloquii. Is that just me? Also, am I the only one who doesn’t understand the “cold shoulder” look?
