Open Letter To My Readers

Happy Tuesday all!

Lately life has been really stressful  for me and the blog has suffered because of this.  I’m usually prompt when responding to comments but lately that hasn’t been the case.  Please know I sincerely appreciate every single comment that is made to the blog.  I deeply apologize for not responding to your kind comments in a suitable fashion.  I will try very hard to make responding a priority.  I don’t ever want to be that blogger who doesn’t respond back to readers.

Thank you all for being so supportive of my me and my blog. Without your support there would be no Grown and Curvy Woman.

Have a great evening!

Georgette

    Georgette,
Please don’t feel like that. I, and I’m sure 99% of us who love your blog, don’t feel neglected. You are a bright, sunny, special person and that all comes through in every picture and post. We all get caught up in the many responsibilities of our daily lives. Your end-of-the-week posts brighten up my day. I really love seeing your gorgeous outfit creations and your incredible smile. Just the fact that you put together those wonderful outfits, take all the photos, and post info on the individual pieces has to take a ton of time. You are a joy!

Georgette, We can’t do it all all the time. So take the time you need for yourself so we can see you back when you are ready stronger than ever!

    Hi there,

I’ve been reading your blog for several months now. You have a great sense of style and a sweet spirit that comes through your posts. I read your open letter today and my heart goes out to you. It sounds like a stressful time. I want to offer you some unsolicited advice… be kind and gracious to yourself, especially during this time. It’s real life – it doesn’t always go smoothly. But, when you are authentic and imperfect, you give others permission to be authentic and imperfect. Isn’t that where the true beauty comes? I don’t know if you’re a praying person, but I’ll pray for you. Be well.

Taking care of yourself is the most important thing right now! As everyone else before me said, take all the time you need. We’ll all be here ready and waiting to squeal with joy when you come back!
