TGIF all!
I know this Lane Bryant jumpsuit has already made the rounds but I couldn’t help posting it! When I was putting the jumpsuit on, I begin to reminisce about my long term relationship with Lane Bryant. I began wearing Lane Bryant way back in the 10th grade, My mother and older sisters were plus size too so I was exposed to Lane Bryant since I was a child. So when it was finally my turn to start wearing their clothes, it almost felt like a rite of passage into womanhood. From that point on, Lane Bryant became a significant source of clothing throughout my life. In college Lane Bryant’s heavy wool coats saved me brutal Binghamton winters, provided me with my first bra fitting and was where I got my first business suit for job interviews. I knew no matter the occasion, I could always depend on Lane Bryant to provide me with quality clothing. For these reasons and many more, Lane Bryant will always occupy a special place in my heart.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello,
I really appreciated this post. Like you I was exposed to LB at a young age by my Birth Father along with, wait for it….. Sizes unlimited (way ol Skool throwback). I share similar experiences with obtaining my first power-suit, lingerie, and correctly fitting bra.
I also believe we are in the same field-being child welfare. Just today in supervision my Supervisor asked me where do I shop for clothes as for a plus size person I’m always well dressed. Now it’s a shame that compliment had to preface the dreaded words “For a plus size”. Any who’s keep doing your thing and thanks again for the post. Have a great weekend.

Thank you so much! I too hate the dreaded “for a plus size woman”. I wish they would just compliment me instead of my size. PS women are stylish & chic!
My sentiments exactly!! Although I now buy from many different sites (thanks in a large part from following your blog!), Lane Bryant has always been and continues to be a reliable stop for all categories of plus size clothing.

Thank you!!!
How wonderful you look! Sexy and beautiful!
I am a big fan of jumpsuits and I loved this one the minute I saw it, and ordered it online immediately. Couldn’t wait for it to arrive… Unfortunately, it did not fit me right at all – I figured that I needed to be a tall woman with a very different figure for this jumpsuit to fit me right. I love LB and buy about 50% of my clothes there, though I discovered them only three or four years ago (I did not used to be plus size and it was a long journey to find the right brands). I adore their Isabel Toledo and Sophie Theallet collaborations, got many pieces. Can’t wait what else they will bring to us…
Have a great weekend! 🙂 xxx

Beautiful, simply beautiful! May I ask where the oh-so-on-trend tassel necklace is from? Thanks!
