I was first introduced to Poppy & Bloom back in June during Full Figured Fashion Week’s Indie Designer Show. What attracted me to them was their take on plus size work wear. Often plus size work clothing is just a blazer and skirt but Poppy & Bloom offered cute flirty dresses with a vintage flair. Their clothes are specifically made to flatter the plus size body. One of Poppy & Bloom’s credo is “Life is too short to wear boring clothing” and I couldn’t agree more!
Poppy & Bloom was gracious to send me their VERY popular Corner Office A Line Dress in Red (which is currently on sale!). The material while it provides stretch still maintains its structure. The dress is true to size and is not loose fitting. The only drawback (for me) is the above the knee length. Y’all all know about me and my shelf booty issues so I have to wear tights with it. I can’t have all my goodies showing at work when I bend over to pick something up! (LOL) Otherwise the dress is perfect for work and can be dressed up for an after work event.
