Off Duty Style: Mad For Plaid

Happy Hump Day all!

Each Fall I look for a statement coat whether that be in color or in print. Unfortunately finding a statement coat can be  somewhat tricky because many retailers don’t equate plus size with fashionable  which is  frustrating.  I yearn for the day when dark colored  coats are not presented as the only options for us. Until that happens, retailers such as Eloquii, ASOS and Simply Be  have stepped up by offering coats in a variety of colors and prints.   Eloquii’s plaid coat is an example of this.  It’s instantly become the  statement coat  I’ve been looking for.  It’s roomy without being bulky and versatile which is important to me. Plus it’s in red plaid!!! YES!!!

What is your favorite statement coat?

Have a wonderful day!

Now this is it! Love the plaid jacket and the ripped jeans lend a funky, relaxed look to the outfit.

Love the coat on you. Have never been a fan of ripped jeans; that may be a generational thing. But you always look good.

This was a great choice Ms. G, you look great! I am so enjoying your “casual” looks because they are so wearable but still fashionable and ‘YOU”. Go ‘head!

nice jacket – I sew and have a ton of plaid fabric – have a ton of pants and now want to do something different – thanks for the idea

I really like this coat. I have to break down and buy a new one next year. I keep wearing a black coat I bought years ago but I want one that pops with red in it. You’ve inspired me to actually do it. I was afraid my size would make it too much but you look great.
