Best of 2013: Pt. 2

Happy Monday all!

This is part two of my favorite looks from this year.  As the year comes to a close, my resolution for the new year is pretty simple…to be kinder to myself and continue to grow as a person.  While I’ve had some personal struggles this year, 2013 was great overall.  I was fortunate to have several opportunities come my way and I would be remiss not to acknowledge them.

I also want to thank everyone for supporting, commenting and following my blog. Words cannot describe how much your constant support means to me! THANK YOU!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I just love your sense of style. Often you pull off outfits that should not work. The on paper it sounds crazy but when the photo pops up it is still crazy. Crazy awesome!

May your 2014 be filled with glitter, color, hope and love. And may you continue to inspire others to leave their comfort zones because you are living proof that beauty is 90% confidence 9% what you do with it and 1% what you were born with.

    Rock on beautiful.

I am new to ur blog. i just want to say that u truly inspire me. Somewhere, i hve just lost my inspiration to truly shop and find nice pieces to put together because being a plus size women u really hve to search lonh n hard for NICE not cheap looking clothing. I just dont hve the time, energy or patience.(im working on that). Ive never even heard of sum of the places where ur pieces came from or did not even know they had plus sizes. Just seeing ur blog today made me want to do some different things with my plus-size natural look. Thanx a bunch

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! Im glad I could help inspire you!. I completely understand when you say “you really have to search long and hard for nice not cheap looking clothing”. Although strides have been made in plus clothing we still have a long way to go.

Again thank you for your comment! Im glad you enjoy my blog! 🙂

I love the middle look in the second row of pictures. Where did you get the shirt and skirt?! Where you do shop, your style is awesome!

    • October 5, 2014 / 11:38 pm

Thank you! The skirt is old from Eloquii, the jacket I got from Kohls 2yrs ago and the shirt is old from Gap. I shop at a variety of places from Gap, ASOS, Eloquii, Talbots, Macys, Old Navy, Lane Bryant, Simply Be and Nordstrom.
