Getting Accustomed

Happy Hump Day all!

It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for a pretty dress so when I saw this on eShakti’s website I had to have it.  This is my second custom made dress from eShakti.  While my first custom dress fit  fine,  when I ordered this dress I  made my bust measurements bigger  because I didn’t want  that area to be tight.  Unfortunately making it bigger caused the top to gape therefore  exposing the undersides of my bra.   Since I didn’t want to send the dress back I had my tailor fix it.  I don’t fault eShakti for this because they were  going by the measurements I provided.   It’s important to make sure your measurements are correct to ensure a better fit.  You can either get someone to measure you or have your tailor do it (if you feel comfortable doing so).  I know the next time I’m gonna leave my measurements alone!

I definitely recommend giving eShakti a try.  They offer size 0-36 in ALL their dresses (they also have tops, jackets and skirts too!).   You can opt to have the dress of your choice custom made to your measurements for a mere $7.50. Also depending on the dress you can add sleeves, change the length of the dress or remove extras like pockets.  It’s an all-inclusive retailer which frankly more need to be like.   And to make things easier, if  you use my referral code GCN22879 you’ll  get $40 off your first eShakti order!  Sweet!

Have a wonderful day!

The dress looks FABULOUS on you! I was eye-ing that one myself, but was afraid of the inverted pleat in the back making my derriere look bigger than it already is! :-/ Seeing you in it makes me wish I had gotten it! It’s no longer available which makes me so sad, but so happy it worked out for you! 🙂

Thank you! I was worried about the pleat in the back too but I then I thought my booty is already big so go for it! LOL

I love the dress on you! it is so perfect, the pattern on the collar, and how it works so well – I could weep over Eshakti and their beautiful clothing, they don’t post to the UK, I had a real bottom lip moment over that! x

That is such a beautiful dress, I’ve always loved that combination of colors. And I just might use that code of yours, $40 off is such a good deal for something I can get customized, and I’ve been wanting to try out eShakti for some time now. Is there a minimum?

    • August 14, 2013 / 7:13 pm

Unfortunately the $40 deal is over BUT eShakti is having a 40% off sale that is ending today!
