Casual Friday/Mixing It Up With Madison Plus

TGIF everyone!

As many of you ladies know, the majority of plus size clothing is online.  It’s a shame that we can’t walk into our local  shopping center/ mall and buy clothes.  I can personally attest to how frustrating and  time consuming it can be to search online for clothing when you don’t even know where to begin.   Fortunately sites such as  Madison Plus and Sonsi have come to the rescue to ease our frustration.   They are essentially online “malls” that  house  a variety of plus size labels such as  KiyonnaMonifC and Mynt1792 in one place.  Along with access to their large  selections, their user friendly sites allow easy navigation that reduces  time spent searching of an item.      I found Madison Plus and Sonsi’s  prices  to be comparable to other online  retailers and standard shipping costs are kept to a minimum. The skirt I’m wearing in this   post is from Madison Plus and it was delivered less than 5 days after ordering it.   Madison Plus and Sonsi have  mailing lists where  you can sign up to be notified  of any sales or special  promotions via email.

So the next time you’re shopping online,  head over to Madison Plus and Sonsi   and give them a  try!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Perfect print mixing. I’m not a long dress or skirt kind of girl but that skirt is so pretty. I want it.

As usual.. another GORGEOUS outfit, topped off with that wonderful smile. Tell me, do you shop a lot, or do you tend to recycle things from your wardrobe and team them up with different items to keep them fresh? I know I’ve noticed a few things making a reappearance (your cute stripey cardy/jacket for example) but I’m not that observant. Do you enjoy shopping? Keep smiling, Georgette. I love getting your posts in my inbox. 🙂

Thank you hon! I love to shop but I need a new car so you will be seeing ALOT of recycling on the blog. Thank you so much for being supportive of my blog. I really, really appreciate it!

Hm, if I tried to mix patterns like that it wouldn’t look anywhere near as good as it looks on you! I know, I’ve tried mixing, and hate how it looks on me! Maybe because I’m so short or something; I don’t know.

Im sorry it didnt work for you BUT at least you tried it! 🙂

Coral? Stripes AND polka dots? Just a few of my favorite things right now. This look is so girly, in a good way 🙂 Love it!

I am in love with this skirt! I have been for a bit, but may I ask you a question. It’ll help me determine if I can get it or not. May I ask what size you are and what size the skirt is? I feel like Kristin Miles clothes might run a tad small so I’m afraid of ordering the 3X on a whim

    • May 4, 2013 / 3:29 pm

Thank you! And no I dont mind you asking! Im a size 18 in skirts but I bought the 3x because of the measurements. To my surprise the skirt is quite big in the waist and Ill have to have it taken in. Depending on your body you may want to size down. Hope I was helpful!

Oh boy, I’m a 24/26. My waist is about a 48. Do you think I might be pushin my luck with it?

      • May 4, 2013 / 3:46 pm

Honestly I think you’ll be ok. My waist is 41 inches so I think the skirt will fit fine on you. Send me a pic when you wear it!
