Lady in Waiting

Happy Hump Day!

I promise today will be the LAST day I complain about the awful weather we’ve been having . I desperately want Spring to begin but Winter keeps hanging around like a jilted ex!    Unfortunately my complaining isn’t going to make the weather change any faster so it’s a waste of  time to continue to be frustrated.  Grrrr!

So whether it’s 30 or 40 degrees outside I’m still going to flaunt my Spring  colors.  I know my skirt looks coral/pink in the pictures but it is really orange  in person. So while my necklace looks out of place in the picture, it goes perfectly with the skirt.   Also if you notice, I’m not wearing earrings  in the post.  Why you ask?  Because of my poor habit of procrastinating which causes me to rush every morning, I couldn’t find them. Grrr!   “Why do today what you can do tomorrow” has sadly become my motto. I keep telling myself I’ll do better but I continue to procrastinate!  Any suggestions on how kick the habit?

Have a wonderful day!

It’s hard not to complain when you got 12 inches of snow on Sunday, but it won’t change anything. It’s melting like crazy today too. I bought a dress from Nordstrom Rack today, the hi/lo kind in gray and burgundy. I’m ready spring, come on! I love the colors, orange is one of my favorite for summer.

If we got 12 inches of snow here I would have lost my mind! If we’re patient the beautiful Spring weather will arrive soon so we can wear those fab dresses!

Haha and we keep whinging that summer won’t piss off. I love your bright and cheerful colours. Who says that you have to wear drab in winter and bright in spring? Wear bright all year round!!! 🙂 Happy hump day. xo

Another beautiful spring look from you! I love these colors together! And FYI, it’s fine to complain. Down here in Alabama, we are experiencing the coldest weather we’ve had all year. And it’s my spring break!

Thank you! Day was beautiful outside so maybe the weather is making a change for the better. I hope! LOL

I love this combination!!! So happy and pretty. It might be cold, but it looks like there is some pretty blue sky in the background!

You might be done complaining about the weather, but I’m sure not. I’ll complain until my toenails are painted and saying hello to the world!

That being said, you are a ray of sunshine in all of that color! I love the flowy-ness of the skirt in contrast to the very structured jacket!

LOL! I love it! Im still complaining, Im just not gonna blog about the crappy weather! LOL
Thank you so much! Funny I wasnt going to wear the skirt with that blouse, but I decided to change at the last minute. Glad I did!

You look wonderful here! Everything is right with this outfit, from the nipped waist, the ruffled shirt, to the “flippy” skirt (that’s what my boyfriend calls skirts with a little… flip to them). I’m going to post this on my facebook wall.

I hope I am not going to offend you now with this comment. I am Dutch and very honest, which is not always appreciated. I apologize beforehand but I really mean well.
I like the outfit a lot with the jacket closed. I think the yellow blouse is a great find but when you leave the jacket open, the proportions do not seem right. The yellow part is too short then, which it isn’t when the jacket is closed. (Listen to me talking about proportions. As if I know how to… It just struck me when I saw the last photo.)

Im not offended at all! I know that some of my readers may not agree with my fashion choices and thats fine. I dont expect my readers to like everything I wear. 🙂

      Thank you for your feedback!

Oh.. pffff relieved. I agree with you, you cannot please everybody all of the time. But a blogger once told me to keep my mouth if I did not have anything nice to say. And I only said it was not my taste which was the first “negative” reply in three months. I felt so attacked and insecure, that I am very careful now.
I like people to give me honest replies. That way I know they really mean it when they like something. But hey..I am Dutch. Apparently we are a whole different breed. I am glad you take it the way I meant it.
