An Oldie but a Goodie!

Happy Hump Day all!

When I bought this Simply Be trench coat back in the Summer, I couldn’t wait to wear it.   The faux leather on the sleeves instantly  updates the classic trench giving it some edge.  Its  a great way to  incorporate the current leather trend  and still be appropriate to wear to work.   The coat is true to size  and  isn’t snug or tight.   There is enough room  to wear layers or a chunky sweater underneath.  I was looking  to update my trench coat  this season and this fit the bill perfectly!

Are you looking to update your trench coat?

Have a wonderful evening!

P.S. Sorry for the blurry pics. My lens was smudged but its all fixed now. Yay!

I love the neutral colours of this coat, and when belted, shows some gorgeous feminine curves. We’re just getting into Spring and warmer weather, so no trench coat wearing for me 🙂

i do like trench coats – they are chic and effortless, the faux leather makes a real statement, i have a cream trench i like to look at but when i wear it, it is stiff and cumbersome – however i have just had a light bulb moment! i need to wash it! blog reading + mama time (well, lots of ‘shh’ and ‘give me just a minute’ etc!) = brain working! xx

LOL…yes wash it & rock that trench coat!

Looks great on you! If I got something like that, I would be able to wear it maybe once or twice a year, so it would last forever right?

    • September 15, 2012 / 1:32 pm

Yes it would! But I bet you would wear it more than twice!

This is such a great early fall outfit! I really want to buy a new trench this year, but I probably shouldn’t since my old one still works just fine.

Lucky you! My old trench was looking so run down I had to get a new one!

This lovely coat is inspired by the totally awesome leather trimmed Burberry trench, but I think I’m partial to this one because of the sleeves. I tried to get one for myself at Simply Be, but sadly my size is all gone. You look great in yours! I love your blog and your fashion sense. Thanks so much for all the links to quality plus size retailers. I just embarked on a nice little shopping spree. I wasn’t aware that half these stores existed.
