It’s About You!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

When I first started this blog, I wanted to chronicle my journey into self acceptance through fashion. Since then my perspective about this blog has changed. I want my blog to be a platform for women of all ages and sizes to feel good about themselves. We can’t assume that because a woman is “straight” sized ( a term I’ve come to dislike) that she doesn’t have issues with her body. I truly believe fashion is for EVERYBODY. Fashion is a great way to express your individuality. You don’t have to be on trend to be “stylish” or “fashionable”. There is no age or weight limit on style. You just have to find what works for you and go for it!

With that said, I want to know what you (my wonderful readers!!!) want to see featured on here. Let me know your ideas in the comment section.

Have a great day!

I feel you on the “straight size” issue. As someone who is in between sizing systems, I struggled with where I fit in in the fashion blogverse. Labels are so annoying! I’ve just accepted the label “curvy” because it doesn’t confine me to plus sizes or straight sizes.

As for what I’d like to see? You have great unique professional style, so I’d love to see you do a feature on building a unique work wardrobe!

I like how you didnt allow labels to define you. Its easy to allow yourself to be catogerized.

Thank you for you idea. I will work on getting a post about building a unique work wardorbe!

I love your use of color! I would love to see color themed posts, maybe with advice on different skin/hair tones wearing various colors. For instance, how can a very fair skinned brunette wear orange?

Thank you for that input. I will definately get to work on this!

i totally agree with you, i think all women have their issues, i dont agree with labels to define us and separate us into camps (fat, curvy etc)it is wrong and causes friction, i’m all for all women having wonderful self-esteem and the right to feel good and dress confidently, this wonderful blog world is an absolute God-send, i thank all the beautiful courageous women who blog (including you! obviously!) because you have been an inspiration for me, i have grown too – in confidence and in dressing, by taking more risks i have found a greater personal style and my size becomes irrevelant because i feel good – aplogies for the ramble! i love your blog, i love your style and your abilty to always dress both casually and smart beautifully, like tasha i would also like a working wardrobe feature x

I love your blog too and appreciate that it actually addresses work wear, since so many fashion blogs don’t. I love your outfit posts and the fashion commentary you provide. I’d also like additional details about fit – does the item run true to size, is it snug through the middle and so on. And if you are so inclined to make a few videos it’s always great to see the clothes “in action” that would be cool too. You have a wonderful professional style and I enjoy seeing it. (Though I enjoy the casual clothing posts too.)

Thank you for your suggestions. In my new post, I took your advice to heart & included additional details about fit. As for videos, that is something Ive been thinking about but since you mentioned it I will make it a reality!
