Casual Friday/Keeping Cool

TGIF!!!

Today is all about keeping cool and wearing light fabrics. I love the warm days of summer, but when it becomes a brutal furnace outside all I want to do is stay inside. Since I don’t have that option I scoured my closet to find the easiest and lightest things to wear. I paired my neon-ish yellow tee-shirt and my orange print maxi skirt (formerly a dress!) together for a colorful yet cool combo. I added my blue necklace just for a pop of color.

What are your go to items to combat the heat? Have a great weekend!

Skirt (dress): the Avenue

Shirt: Old Navy

Belt: Old Navy

Sandals: Steve Madden

Necklace & Bracelet: Forever 21

Love, love, love the print on your dress worn as a skirt. Avenue is actually one of my best kept secret places – they’re clothes have changed so much recently – I find gems there a lot. I like how you styled this.

Thank you! I totally agree with you about the Avenue. Although they’re closing much of their stores, their website has alot of options

So cute! I always like yellow with a turquoise accent. You are a totally bad influence! I want that skirt/dress NOW! BTW, I found that cute print black and white skirt from Old Navy that you wore a few posts ago and scooped it up. Sorry, now you have a copy cat in the Bay Area!
