Lovely Layers Pt. 1

Happy Monday all!

With Spring right around the corner, the season for transitional dressing will be upon us.  Dressing for cool Spring mornings and warm afternoons can be tricky but not impossible.   The key is to keep the layers thin so you can peel them off comfortably as the day progresses.  Layering thin materials also lessens bulk so you don’t end up looking like a linebacker. My favorite items to layer are  strapless, short sleeve and spaghetti strap Summer dresses.  They  are perfect for layering over a turtleneck or button up shirt. Another favorite layering staple is a jumpsuit, especially denim ones.  Try layering a denim shirt underneath one for a fun take on a Canadian tuxedo.  Layering a striped long sleeve tee shirt under a floral jumpsuit creates a great mixed print outfit. The possibilities are endless and before you know it, you’ll be a layering dynamo!

Have a wonderful day!
