Right To Bare Arms….Or Not!

Happy Monday all!

Going sleeveless can invoke “Jaws” like fear in some women but for others it’s not a big deal. It’s perfectly fine if you choose not to go sleeveless. I’m a firm believer that you should wear clothing that makes YOU feel comfortable.  Deciding not  to go sleeveless doesn’t mean you don’t love yourself any less than someone who does. Your particular clothing preferences have very little to do with self acceptance.  Anyone can put on a fabulous outfit to diguise how they truly feel about themselves.   At the end of the day, it’s more important that you feel good about yourself no matter what you wear. So feel free to exercise your right to bare arms or not!

Have a wonderful day!

Georgette, you, as always, look stunning. I loved the younger you in your last post, too, regarding travel. So, ahem… when will Australia be on the “to do” list? You are always welcome in my home… there is a spare bed for any errant travellers who come this way. 😀

Thank you so much! Australia is definitely on my list! The counties I listed in my previous post are the ones Im going to in the next year. I have Australia reserved for my graduation trip in 2018! 🙂

I very rarely go sleeveless and never when I want to look good. Why? I learned years ago to emphasize my better features and draw attention away from my “problem” areas.

As long as you feel good about yourself, that is all that matters! 🙂

I used to NEVER expose my arms until it dawned on me that I wasn’t fooling anybody. (I mean, did they think I had skinny arms underneath all those sweaters and jackets?) Little by little I began to show my arms more over the years. This year, I’m in full on IDGAFudge mode 🙂 I wear my arms proudly in public!

You are so amazing with mixing colors. As a woman “of a certain age”, I prefer my upper arms to be covered although they are slender.
As a side comment, I s0metimes have a problem with uploading your blog. It takes a long time and sometimes doesn’t load at all. I wonder if others have that problem.

Hi. Sorry to report that the blog was faster for a while but today is very slow to load again and is not letting you scroll down to view earlier posts but is only scrolling sideways. Also, there is no access to archives, etc.

I love wearing a tie chambray top over a maxi dress. This is a great look!

    • June 30, 2015 / 12:59 pm

Me too! I love how wearing a denim shirt turns a regular maxi into something cute!

Good good good stuff! You are always pulled together well. You have inspired me to focus on the total look. I now pay attention to the shoes, the handbag and all the accessories that speak to my style. I bear my arms but also agree that how you feel is most important. You are amazing!

    Hi Georgette,

You look wonderful as ever! I noticed you’ve completely redone your blog. I miss being able to search your site and your blogroll. Also it does take a long time to load now and isn’t really iPad friendly.

Just thought I’d let you know.
