Fabulous Faux…Pt. 1

Happy Hump Day all!

Now that Fall is here, I can finally break out my faux leather pieces without sweating to death! Back in the day I wouldn’t be caught DEAD wearing faux leather (don’t you think faux sounds better than saying fake leather? LOL) The days of cheap, stiff items have been replaced with soft, matte materials that move with your body. This faux leather skirt from Eloquii is a prime example of that.  The rich color, great fit and conscious construction has made this skirt one of the best faux leather pieces I own!

What are some of your favorite faux leather pieces?

Have a wonderful day!

P.S. I seem to be having a serious love affair with burgundy (aka Sangria) and green!

Hi how does the faux leather material run true to size or should i go up a size?

The skirt is true to size plus the waist is elastic which provides stretch but I wouldnt size up or down.

I have a fleather (see what I did there) jacket that I adore. It zips up to the neck into a kind of roll neck that looks so cool… and it was only £40!

I think I will most definitely be adding a faux leather piece or two to my wardrobe this fall. There’s such variety of styles now, and in so many colors too! I love the fresh fall palette you’ve put together in this look. The shades of red and green are so surprising together. I always avoid them because I don’t want to look like Christmas. But this is gorgeous!

Love the jacket! I really want one similar… okay, I have one in black (real leather too) but I’ve, um, “outgrown” it. Besides, I love the colour of yours.

By the way, I’m getting married in the near-ish future and the woman I’ve asked to be my matron of honour hates dressing up and is very insecure about it, partly because she’s larger, especially in the chest. I sent her a photo of you as an example of how wonderful she can look.
