Weekend Edition: Wash Out

Happy Monday all!

I had a lot of  plans for this past weekend but the rain squashed  many of them.  Fortunately I was able to attend the Rittenhouse Spring Festival on Saturday  before the rain began with the ladies of Mahogany Philly (a MeetUp social group I joined a few months ago).  I kept things simple with skinny jeans and flat sandals since we were going to be doing a lot of walking around.  While my weekend was a wash out I still had a good time at the festival.  I checked the forecast for Memorial Day weekend and so far  no rain is predicted!  Woo hoo!!!

How was your weekend?

Have a wonderful day!

This is such a cute look! I’m sorry you got rained out. 🙁 Yesterday was a really good day – church, fish & chips (at a local pub where kids eat free on Sundays – yay!), finishing a 3rd (or is it 4th?) re-read of The Hunger Games, a board game with my boys (Incan Gold -so fun! http://www.amazon.com/Incan-Gold-Quest-Riches-Ruins/dp/B001TH8LCW), and Family Movie Night (Journey to the Center of the Earth).

It was pretty full, but it was mostly indoors “simple pleasures” kind of activities. It was the last day of my husband’s vacation so we were trying to make it count. 🙂

Great outfit! I just bought green capris and wasn’t sure what to air them with, great inspiration!

Im glad I could help! Green is such a great color. I suggest pairing it with black & white stripes or a bright yellow shirt.

Very good relaxed outfit. Another styling job well done. Especially like your sandals and your hair.
