Casual Friday/Offering a Helping Hand

TGIF all!

What a week!  Unfortunately my family in the Bronx are still without power.  It’s  hard to watch them struggle  but they are extremely grateful to be alive and have a roof over their heads.  So many people in my home state of  New York and New Jersey are suffering terribly tonight and need our help.  The American Red Cross is accepting donations to help the millions of  Hurricane Sandy victims.  Your contribution may be small but it does make a difference.

With that said, I needed a punch of color to brighten my mood today.  This Sean Anthony Designs fuchsia ruffle blouse definitely does the trick.  I wanted the blouse to be the focus of attention, so I paired it with my coated black INC blazer and printed Eloquii ankle pants.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love the blouse! Not something that goes well with my bright red hair, but I could wear that color in a skirt or in long, dangly earrings!!

Awesome outfit! I have been craving a ruffled fuschia blouse. I fell in love with one from the L’Wren Scott FA12 runway show – the blouse was silk, but the ruffles were velvet – it would be great for the holidays. Yours is gorgeous. I love that it has both ruffles and a collar. Hope things are back to normal real soon for your family.

Besides red, fushcia pink is one of my favorite colors. I love the way it looks against my skin. You can have these pants. Theyre on sale @ Eloquii!!!

Love those pants! Glad your family is okay. Mike’s family lives in Pelham, NY and they’re also still without power, but thankful to be safe.

I love the combination! And those pants are great. Ankle pants can be tricky to me sometimes but you worked it out.
